My name is Meredith and I am 32 years old, married, and currently living in Cleveland, OH. I have an MDiv degree from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from Kent State University. Between school and life I have developed three major passions in my life; politics, religion, and technology. The most beautiful thing about the convergence of my passion is that each aspect of it is in the midst of radical transformation as people begin to embrace and experience global interconnectivity in new and creative ways. I think we are living in incredible times and I love it that I am alive to experience it.

I am a peacemaker, a social activist, and an advocate for justice. I seek creativity in the midst of chaos, healing in response to pain, compassion as a salve to hatred, and the reconciliation of all creation. I am a christian, feminist, tech-savvy, optimistic, suburban white girl and I love to write about and discuss the news with relative strangers.

My meyers-briggs type in INTJ. I am a virgo. -- this makes me loads of fun at a party (sarcasm).

Newsvine has rapidly become my home on the internet. I am consistently awed by the people, the content, and the incredible efforts of the creative team behind it.

I love to read -- (Elizabeth Moon, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Jaqueline Carey, George Martin). I watch tv - aqua teen hunger force, ncis, lost. I consider Bad Religion to be one of the most excellent bands of all time.
